On hearing this, Ayyappa without hesitation immediately started to procure the tigress milk. Later on, it is believed that he actually marched into the palace riding on top of a live tigress. After fulfilling his birth purpose, Lord Ayyappa bid farewell to the family and went to this Sabarimala hilltop and attained the divine form, where many devotees started to pilgrim afterward. ITINERARY
Day 1:
After arriving at Kochi Railway station/Airport in the morning, our representative will receive you and take you to your destination in the vehicle of your choice.
On the way to Sabarimala, you do have got the option to stop over at Poornathrayeesa temple at Thrippunithura where the deity is Santhanagopala Moorthy – another form of Lord Vishnu, Chottanikkara Temple at Chottanikkara which is dedicated to Durga Devi, Vaikom Mahadeva Temple at Vaikom where you can worship God Shiva, Kottayam Thirunnakkara Mahadeva temple that is also dedicated to Lord Shiva. Day 2:
After taking bath in the holy water of Pampa in the morning, the whole team will go back to Kochi. Then you will be dropped off at Kochi Airport/railway station.
