Munnar has become a prominent tourist destination because of its misty mountains and luscious tea estates. Day 01

Cochin to Munnar 

 When you disembark at the Kochi airport / Ernakulam Railway Station, our delegate will meet and greet you. In the vehicle waiting outside the airport, you will be taken to the most-loved hill station of Kerala – Munnar. In the course of this Munnar journey, one never feels it as each curve-up of the mountain boasts its proud ambiance. The changing topography will tell you that you are approaching the destination. On the sides of the winding uphill road, the lush greenery, spice plantations, and the silver waterfalls in between can be a soothing sight for the eyes to be seen. You can stop over at each spot and get full of excitement and fun and you can even have a shower at certain selected locations under the guidance of our delegate. Upon arrival at the hotel, on completing the check-in formalities, you can be at leisure.

Day 02

Munnar 

Kickstart the day with a hot steaming tea watching the fog-covered tea plantation. After finishing your lip-smacking breakfast, we set out for the visit to the Tea Museum where you can collect knowledge about the history of tea and tea plantations in Munnar. It exhibits equipment used for tea manufacturing. The next famous spot is Eravikulam National Park. It is declared a National Park to protect the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. From there, we shall go to the 8th Mile viewpoint. It is 5 km far from this National park. The fresh air and beautiful scenery will make you fall in love with this place. From this park, we can continue our journey towards Lakkam Waterfall. This is nestled inside a dense forest. Our next famous spot is at Marayoor Forest which is a sandalwood forest. You can buy sandalwood oil from here. Muniyara is the last spot we visit on our second day. It is believed that Buddhist Monks prayed and meditated in these caves to achieve nirvana. On returning hotel, have an appetizing dinner and go to bed.  

Day 03

Munnar To Alleppey

On this third day, have a Kerala breakfast. After doing check-out formalities, head out of the hotel and proceed to your journey to Alleppey town. This is one of the sought-after places in Kerala. It has got its fame because of backwaters and Kettuvallams. Reach Alleppey and check into the Houseboat. After freshening up, savor the lunch including seafood dishes. Being close to the lake is incredible. Feel the sense of a quieter side of the world. You can see the villagers paddling by.   

Relish the colorful environment of the lake as the houseboat floats through the canals. Visit Champakulam Church, Pathiramanal, and R and l block Kayal. At night you can watch some of the famous art forms of Kerala. Sleep comfortably enjoying the soothing waves under the houseboat. 

 

Day 04

Alleppey to Cochin Drop

Waking up in the middle of the lake is truly bliss. 

In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Kochi Airport / Ernakulam railway station to see you off.
