Cochin to Munnar
Upon your arrival at the Kochi International Airport/ Ernakulam Railway Station, you will be greeted by one of our delegates. Then you will be driven to Munnar to start your hill station trip. The sides of the winding roads are glammed up with pruned tea plantations, spice plantations, and waterfalls. The relaxed atmosphere will calm your mind. The symphony of cascades and the smell of spices from the plantation will add a positive vibe throughout your trip. You can stop over at these waterfalls and get full of excitement and fun and you can even have a shower at certain selected locations. On arriving at Munnar, do check-in formalities and have your special dinner, and take a deep sleep.
Munnar
On the second day, after having your hearty breakfast, we can start your exploration. Visit the beautiful Mattupetty Dam. You can go boating here to get the beauty of this dam in its full swing and its surroundings. On the way to Mattupetty Dam, you can stop over at Photo Point. As the name says it offers many appealing postcard-perfect photo opportunities. Do not forget to make some memories to cherish in the future. The spice plantation can be visited here. The guide will elaborate on each spice and its properties. You can also visit Rose Garden where you will get surprised to see unique colored roses. Eco point, Tea Estates, Honey Bee Tree, Blossom Park, and Top station are some of the other spots you will visit on this day. Overnight stay at hotel.
Munnar
Waking up amidst the misty hills and breathing fresh air is truly priceless. Try some Kerala food for your breakfast this morning and set out for the visit to the Tea Museum where you can collect knowledge about the history of tea and tea plantations in Munnar. It exhibits equipment used for tea manufacturing. The next famous spot is Eravikulam National Park. It is declared a National Park to protect the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. From there, we shall go to the 8th Mile viewpoint. It is 5 km far from this National park. The fresh air and beautiful scenery will make you fall in love with this place. From this park, we can continue our journey towards Lakkam Waterfall. This is nestled inside a dense forest. Our next famous spot is at Marayoor Forest which is a sandalwood forest. You can buy sandalwood oil from here. Muniyara is the last spot we visit on our second day. It is believed that Buddhist Monks prayed and meditated in these caves to achieve nirvana. On returning hotel, have an appetizing dinner and go to bed with nice memories kept in mind.
Munnar to Cochin Drop
On this concluding day soon after your breakfast, go shopping in Munnar town. You can shop for some knick-knacks and handicrafts from the shacks on the roadside. After returning to the hotel, check out your room and move forward to Cochin Airport / Ernakulam junction to board your flight/train with lovely memories in mind that will urge you to visit this place time and time again.
