Day 01

Arrival at Port Blair, sightseeing at Carbyn’s Cove Beach and Cellular Jail

On alighting at Port Blair by flight/ship in the morning, you will be transferred to the hotel/resort by one of our representatives. 

After check-in and relaxation, in the afternoon you will be picked up for the trip to Carbyn’s Cove Beach. It has only a 7-kilometer distance from Port Blair and is perfect for swimming and sunbath. The soothing atmosphere created by the natural topography of the beach will make you forget about your woes. In the evening, you will be taken to Cellular Jail to see the wonderful light and sound show. 

You can comfortably stay in the Port Blair Hotel at night.    

Day 02

Ross and North Bay Island

Have your breakfast from the hotel and embark on your journey towards Ross and North Bay Island. One-hour ride to Ross Island on a ferry is truly exhilarating. There you can see the dilapidated conditions of the former Government House, Commissioner’s House, Press, Church, and Swimming Pool. You can visit Smritika – the museum that exhibits photographs and antiques. In the protected forest of Ross Island, you can walk around the nature trails to see various animals and birds. From there you will go to North Bay Island and take part in water sports activities. Have a look into the underwater world of this island through the glass bottom ride and snorkeling. In the evening you will again board the ferry to return to your hotel at Port Blair for your overnight stay.

Day 03

Havelock Island

You will feel better all day if you have a healthy breakfast. So have it and leave the hotel to start your trip to Havelock Island by ferry. From the Havelock Jetty, a drive with our representative will take you to the hotel to check in the pre-booked hotel. After relaxing for some time and having lunch, we will visit the beautiful beaches of Havelock Island. At the Kalapathar beach, the long stretches of black stones on the white beach will mesmerize you. 

After wandering around this secluded beach and its surroundings, we can move on to our next destination, i.e.; Radhanagar Beach where you can see the spectacular visuals of the sunset. 

Day 04

Elephant Beach

Finish your breakfast and get ready to take part in the water sports activities at Elephant Beach. 

After checking out your room, our envoy will take you on a boat to reach this beach. It is famous for its plethora of marine life and colorful coral reefs. To catch a tremendous glimpse of underwater life, go scuba diving and snorkeling. 

Afternoon, you can trek inside the lush forest on the beachside. This 2-kilometer-long trek route is towards Radhanagar Village. Later in the evening, we will drop you at Havelock Jetty to return to Port Blair. Your night stay is at the hotel in Port Blair.

Day 05

Bid farewell to Andaman

After breakfast, check out your room. We will drop you at the Airport to return your home with lovely memories of Andaman Nicobar Islands.

For exploring the mysteries in the depth of the ocean in Andaman, scuba diving is the exact option. Many consider it as an adventure but for those who want to learn more about the inner world of marine water, it is really a treat with a colorful ocean floor. Scuba diving started in 1986 in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

The growing interest in scuba diving reflects in the number of diving certifications as it has tripled in the past 15 years. In modern society, scuba diving is incorporated for recreational, industrial, and military purposes. Other than day diving, night diving is also possible on these islands. With the help of the equipment provided for diving, you can breathe inside the water also. 40 meters is the depth limit for a normal tourist but you can go deeper with special training. There will be an instructor with you for giving proper guidance to dive inside the water. Do not try to touch the seawater inhabitants without receiving instruction from your instructor. Return to the water surface is to be done in a slow manner as the pressure change all of a sudden will harm your lungs. Always choose a day with good weather conditions to enjoy the adventures inside the seawater. In some spots, kids' diving is possible. Above 8-year-old kids are allowed in such spots for scuba diving under the supervision of certified instructors.

The ocean along the Havelock Island coast has a plethora of marine life and colorful corals and offers varieties of diving possibilities. They have numerous diving sites. The Seduction point is one of them which is a submerged huge rock covered by varieties of marine life. The Aquarium is another site that is 3 kilometers away from Elephant Beach. Inexperienced divers can do diving here. There is an abundance of colorful fishes and coral reefs. In the presence of clear water, one can easily see these colorful creatures. The lighthouse site is also near shallow waters. You can easily behold coral varieties and fish varieties here. The Pilot Reef site has a 24-meter depth and a large number of unique fishes and hard coral reefs. Only experienced divers are allowed here for diving. Turtle bay is for witnessing sea turtles. Coral varieties can be observed here. Since the depth is below 14 meters, inexperienced divers can dive here. Mac Point is for experienced divers, where you can reach by boat and has lots of hard corals and colorful fish schools. Sea cows and dugongs can be sighted at this site. Pilot Reef has 24 meters in depth which is only for experienced ones. You can easily observe hard corals and unique fishes. Ocean Tribe is a group of dive masters and instructors on Havelock Island. They have a thorough knowledge of island waters and have diving experiences. It is not a problem whether you are an experienced or inexperienced diver or just a beginner, you can go diving with them. A guide and equipment are provided by them. Other than scuba diving, they do other water activities like sea walking and snorkeling.

At the Minvera bridge site, experienced divers can easily view hard corals and a decent quantity of fish varieties. At Margherita’s Mischief diving spot on Neil Island, you may see Batfish, Blue-spotted stingrays, Soldierfish, Angelfish, and Yellow Snappers. 16 meters is this spot’s depth. K-rock spot on Neil Island with a depth of 19 meters is less crowded when compared to Havelock Island. This is a big rock over a sandy bottom. Soldierfish, Butterflyfish, Sweetlips, and Snappers can be often seen around this rock. Bus stop is another spot made of small rock patches on a sandy bottom. 20 meters is the depth of this Bus stop spot. Junction is the spot between Havelock Island and Neil Island, where you can see a lot of soft corals encircled by Marlin, Lionfishes, Barracudas, and Trevally. The depth of this spot is 30 meters.

Equipment used for scuba diving:

Scuba tank – to keep the compressed air for breathing, regulator- by converting the compressed air into breathable air, diving mask – help to see the underwater views, wetsuit – provide you warmth and protection from underwater creature’s stings, fins – for the fast movement inside the water, buoyancy controlling device, and defog- helps to reduce fogging up are the essential equipment used by the scuba divers. There is more advanced equipment also used by them like a dive computer to monitor critical data, a diving knife to escape from the fishing line, dive lights, tank bangers, a dive compass, and writing slates.
